Stephanie Schwuchow
Title: Business Development Manager
Stephanie Schwuchow is the Business Development Manager at the Charter Schools Development Center (CSDC). Schwuchow's areas of expertise include grantwriting, fundraising, business planning, and financial modeling. At CSDC, Schwuchow leads a variety of strategic and business development initiatives to help ensure CSDC’s long term financial sustainability. She is also responsible for providing consulting expertise, presenting workshops and writing articles on topics related to charter school funding, operations, grantwriting, fundraising and other business matters. As an expert grantwriter with over a decade of experience, Schwuchow has secured millions in private and government grant revenue for charter schools and youth organizations.
Prior to joining CSDC, Schwuchow was the Chief Financial Officer and Co-Founder of Oakland Unity High School. She also worked as a Business Consultant for the Oakland Charters Together project and has authored charter school guides on topics including business plan development and fundraising. Schwuchow has further experience as a Corporate Educator at a technology start-up and Management Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she specialized in designing and implementing financial accounting systems. Schwuchow holds a BS and MBA from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business.
