CSDC Membership Services Package

The Charter Schools Development Center (CSDC) is Oregon's non-profit resource center that provides state-wide, comprehensive technical assistance and policy advocacy on behalf of high quality, CSDC-member charter schools and charter sponsors. Our members receive many benefits, including:

Charter Currents: CSDC's quarterly newsletter, Currents is a comprehensive, in-depth source of breaking charter school news on key charter school issues, including legal and regulatory changes, accountability, student assessment, charter school finance, facilities development, and special education.

Individualized "Hot Line" Support: You are only a phone call or email away from getting your specific questions answered by the state's leading charter school experts. Our staff has in-depth expertise across a broad range of areas necessary to develop, operate, or oversee your charter school. Members receive up to five hours of "hot line" support annually.

Discounts on CSDC Workshops and Annual Conference: Attend our comprehensive full and multi-day Oregon workshops and our annual Oregon conference at discounted member rates.

Discounts on CSDC Publications: Purchase our in-depth "how to" guides, "tool kits" of sample documents, and other critical publications at discounted member rates.

News Updates via Email: Receive breaking charter school news on hot topics, such as proposed and adopted legislation, court decisions impacting charter schools, and other news requiring the immediate attention of school developers, principals, board members, and charter sponsors.

Collaboration: Regularly and varied opportunities to network and collaborate, both within the charter community and with other like-minded organizations involved in education reform.

Policy Advocacy: Provide direct input to CSDC's state-wide policy and legislative agenda and activities,including initiation of prospective legislation, technical advising to policymakers, media relations, and the like. Members receive regular updates based on CSDC's monitoring and analysis of legislation and policy.

Membership Fees (annual):*
Schools : $5 per student enrollment with a $500 minimum and a $1,000 maximum
Charter Sponsors: $750
Developers: $1,000
Consultants/Attorneys/Others: $1,500
